Three alumni honored for outstanding acheivements and service!

The Longwood Alumni Association Awards, established in 2010, recognize alumni and others for their outstanding acheivements and service.  This year's awards were presented at a Feb. 7 dinner on campus.

Brad Schwartz, '84 returns to Longwood to speak at the Executive-in-Residence program

Brad E. Schwartz '84 serves as the chief Executive Officer of Monarch Bank and Monarch Financial Holdings, Inc., a $1 billion community financial services company that provides commercial banking, mortgage banking, and investment services primarily in Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia.  He has served as a director since he joined Monarch banking experience and has held past positions at other community banks as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Schwartz also served as a safety and soundness examiner for the Virginia State Corporation Commission's Bureau of Financial Institutions, the primary regulator of Virginia-chartered financial institutions.  Watch Brad's full presentation.

Capping off their Spring Tour, Camerata Singers will give a free concert at Reveille UMC. Music will include Handel’s Zadok, the priest, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, and several shorter works. In addition, we will feature some of our student recitalists in their own solo literature.HAVE YOU MOVED?
