Longwood Leadership Forum

The Longwood Leadership Forum was initiated by Longwood President W. Taylor Reveley IV in 2013 to highlight outstanding examples of leadership in the arts, education, literature, sciences, technology, business and philanthropy. The Office of Commonwealth Relations is pleased to announce their second speaker for Spring 2014. All programs are open to the public and free of charge.

Charles W. Sydnor, Jr. -Holocaust Expert & Executive Director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum
Thursday, February 27, 2014
Wygal Auditorium, 7 p.m.

Sydnor will speak on "The Virginia Holocaust Museum: Teaching the Nazi Genocide as Local History."  As an expert witness for the U.S. Department of Justice from 1981-2006, he helped revoke the citizenship of 23 Nazi war criminals who had been living in the United States.

Alumni Offered Discounted Rate for Basketball Games

Have you missed cheering on your Longwood basketball teams since you were a student? Whether you have regularly attended games since graduation or not, you can get in at a discounted rate and gain access to the hospitality room for the home basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 22^nd! The Longwood women play Radford at 2 PM and the men take on High Point at 5 PM. The hospitality room is open prior to the start of the men’s game and at halftime of the men’s game.
